Lotsa Fish and some new stuff in the shop.
We got some new stuff in today. First, the likely most exciting one. We got a small batch of Scabelly Gliders in. We have two new sizes, 2.5 inch sinkers and 6 inch floaters, and two new colors, Yellow/White and Chicken Scratch. We also have some of the basics (white, etc). If it is anything like before, these will sell out quickly. Hopefully, you see this soon enough to get one because there lures catch...
We also got in a bunch of Tsunami Rods yesterday. They are all out in the brick & mortar store, and we will be shoring up the online inventory shortly. Contact us if you are looking for a specific one.
We don't have any pictures for today's fishing report, but we have been hearing lots of good stuff. The striped bass bite seems to have picked up steam again in the surf, as we heard about multiple slot fish, and a few over-slot fish being landed. Most fell for salted clams, but we did hear of a couple on lures, such as SP Minnows and Yozuri Mag Darters.
We also heard of a few bait fishermen hooking stuff they couldn't stop. We suspect they were big black drum, but with reports from the south of us of toothy critters showing up in the sur, there is a possibility there might be a few sharks around.
The fluke fishing also remains productive in the surf. At the risk of repeating myself, Jigs and Gulp!, Jigs and Gulp!.
Ray has been under a lot of pressure lately. So if you stop in the shop, and you see him looking like this below, just grab what you need, pay, and quietly go....
Oh, and if you see John, the Online Sales Manager, doing the same, it's because of the mad rush on Scabelly gliders. He'll recover in a day or three...
