This upcoming weekend, Grumpys will have a booth at the NJ Saltwater Fishing Expo in Edison NJ in booth 151. The show runs Friday March 14th to Sunday March 16th. We are bringing a good portion of the shop there, and will have deals on all of our popular products. The store in Seaside will remain open during this time, so if you need something, like bloodworms, we will be here. But the shop itself may look like it is in a little bit of disarray.
Our MaiTai Rig sale is still running. All MaiTai rigs are 20% off. The sale will continue until Thursday, so now is the time to stock up on the rigs you need.
Th weather has warmed up and the striped bass are biting. The worm bite has been excellent, and the bite on artificial lures has been steady also. The west side of the bay, and the creeks and rivers that empty into it has been the place to be, but we have been hearing of a few fish on the east side of the bay already. With the next couple of warm days this should only get better.
The winter flounder bite should also pick up with the warmer weather. We have all the winter flounder rigs you need, and they are part of the MaiTai sale.
Whether you are going for striped bass or winter flounder, we have bloodworms in stock.

Matteo is getting fish on artificials! This is his third of the day, with the first one being too big to get out of the water.
Big white perch caught by Chace Robles on bloodworms. It weighed 2 lbs and was 15 inches long
