What a weekend…

The Berkeley Striper Club had their annual fisherman’s flea market a little late this year, and because of COVID-19 restrictions, needed to have it outdoors. They decided to have it across the street from the shop. We understand they had about 700 people through their “doors”, on Saturday, and it seemed every one of those customers came into the shop to take advantage of our flea market sale. It was absolute chaos in the shop for a few hours, and we enjoyed every minute of it. It was nice to see people we have not seen in a while too....

The Fishing Is Getting Hot Locally

Addendum to the last report – They are here!!!

Just a short update, more like an addendum to the last report, the bluefish have shown up. We received a couple of Solid reports of bluefish showing up in the surf. Thomas (you may remember him from here) sent us this picture of a bluefish he got off the surf this afternoon. And HOT OFF THE PRESSES!!! Thomas is still into them as the sun is going down. We don’t have a lot of shop news after this weekend. I guess ray has been sleeping at the wheel, or in his high chair, recently. Even when sleepy, he likes his “nanners” (bananas for those of you without kids…) We did get in more Trailhead tire deflators. The 5-20 lb model in blue or red.
