Just a quickie today…
Since there hasn't been much change, today's report will be short.

We added one more Bill Hurley product to the online store. The Canal Killer. This is a fatter swimbait than what they normally offer on a stout jig head meant for jigging in deep water with fast currents like the Cape Cod Canal. Here is a little secret. They work other places than the canal. Most inlets up and down the coast and (rabid surf anglers may want to stop reading here…) they can even be jigged off of a boat.
Now, the report. It’s basically the same as the last report. Lots of mullet in the surf with bluefish and striped bass chasing them. Mostly bluefish. For the specifics, see here.
Larry got in on the action yesterday evening. The bluefish were happily hitting poppers. Well, happily until they realized there were hooks involved…
Also, Bobby sent us this picture yesterday evening. He said it was a four pound bluefish and what you see it regurgitating was a bunker.
Ray is happily looking forward to the weekend. It might be because he also made the cover shot of Weekend Magazine. What? You didn’t know Ray was a fashion model? Behold…
