I have a finer and more expensive reels (Van Staal and Shimano) but I have 5 of these BGs because they are workhorses and a great value reel for the money ($140 to $160) - rock solid, very reliable, well built - they've held up very well through lots of trips and lots of fish. IMO, best reel in this value price range.
