The Season Has Opened!
The shop continues to see orders come in almost daily. We received orders and restocked Trailhead Tire deflators, St. Croix Rods, Tica Rods and PowerPro braided line. We have added colors HI-Vis Yellow and White to the website too. Change your old line BEFORE the fish of a lifetime reminds you the hard way to change it.
Save the dates! We want to announce that we will be having a "Spring Has Sprung" Sale to celebrate the end of Winter and the first day of Spring. There will be in-store specials and online deals, starting Saturday March 20th and ending Sunday March 21st. The in-store sale will be during store hours (7:00 am to 7:00 pm) each day while the online sale will be midnight to midnight. We will be teamed up with Yakkity Yak Kayaks who will have special pricing on kayaks. We will also have a couple more surprises in store. Details as we get little closer! This will be a great time to load up for the spring season!
Flounder Season is open. Back Bay Striped Bass is open again. They both love blood worms, and we have them. We have flounder rigs and, for stripers, the inline circle hooks too. We heard that some white perch fishermen picked up a few small bass as bycatch recently, so we know the bass are around. We expect rather good fishing out of the gate.
Ray walked into the shop the other day looking a little dazed. He said "Can you believe it's fishing season already?" Apparently it had hit him that it was March 1st. We reviewed the security footage from outside and found a visual of Ray having this realization...
I still am not sure where he keeps getting the hair…
