New Stuff, Restock, Sale, Winter Sale -

Save The Date

Save the date.  John Huddler, Mr Scabelly Hisself, will be in store Saturday January 29th.   He’s bringing a big pile of Scabelly plugs.  Gliders, poppers, darters, needles, and probably some one-off styles and colors.  We won’t really know until that morning.  Doors will open at 7:00 am, the line will likely start much earlier than that.  Scabellys will be available only in-store.  If there any leftovers, we’ll put them online.  ("That’s a joke son, I say, that’s a joke." -Foghorn Leghorn.)

We will also be having both an in-store and online sale for the whole weekend.  We’ll have more details on that sale early next week.

We put a couple new sets of pliers on the online store.  The first are a 7.5 inch pair of aluminum pliers from Krok.  They have stainless jaws and replaceable side cutters that handle both mono and braid.  They come in two colors (blue or silver) and come with a cordura sheath and coiled lanyard included.

The other pliers are not going to last long once Scott sees them.  The P-Line 6.5 Inch Aluminum pliers come in pink, Scott’s favorite color (in case you did not notice).  These pliers also come with a cordura sheath.  They have a set of replaceable tungsten carbide cutters that can handle heavy braided line and any mono you could get them around.  If you want these, get them before Scott buys them all.

We also restocked the online store of Megastrike Megashads for those looking to stock up on them for the spring striper run, or for those planning to head south this winter for snook, bull reds or tarpon.

We’ve also threw a few Shimano Twinpower SW reels (Tuna Jigging sizes), Daiwa BG MQ reels (lots of different sizes), Boga Grips, and Backlash teaser rigs on the site.

If you are still waiting for something we are showing out of stock on, reach out to us on the contact us page and let us know.  We’ll do what we can to get it restocked as soon as we can.  Restocks have been proving challenging the past year, but we will do what we can.  Also, you can click the “EMAIL ME WHEN AVAILABLE” button and enter your e-mail address.  You’ll be one of the first people to know when we restock that item.

We received another big shipment of boxes from one of our suppliers.  Keep an eye on our social media (Facebook or Instagram) to see what it is as we unbox it all.  A few items have already been leaked.

As far as fishing goes, we haven’t heard much the past few days.  Maybe it’s finally over.  Maybe the fish are still here but the cold weather finally convinced most of the anglers to stay home to watch football.  It was the playoffs this past weekend after all.

Ray is having a tough time this winter.  Luckily these big orders have kept him busy.  But the other day Jenni asked him when the last time he went fishing and he just did this…
