Happy Thanksgiving to everyone from all of us at Grumpys Tackle. Just a reminder, our hours on Thanksgiving will be from 4:30 am to 11:00 am. We will return to normal hours on Friday.
This weekend will be our Black Friday to Cyber Monday Sale. It starts noon on Thursday for those who shop online, and when we open at 4:30 am Friday morning for those who want to shop in person. Some good deals to be had.
We added some new stuff to the shop. We just got in IslandX Hellfire Pencil Poppers. These plastic pencils have a great profile and are weighted for long casts. Rigged with single hooks for easy releases, we have them in 5 sizes and 4 colors. Come check them out.
We have also restocked our collaboration gift baskets with MaitTai Tackle. If you are not sure what to get the angler in your life, go with one of these gift baskets and a Gift Card. We have gift cards for those who shop in person and those who shop online (so please read the descriptions carefully).
The fishing has slowed down with the strong east winds we have been experiencing. Or at least the reports have slowed down. Maybe because angler participation has slowed down because of the winds? Those who braved the weather were rewarded with decent fishing. Those who scored threw stuff that would punch through the wind, like Avas with teasers, bucktails, and heavy swim shads.

Virginia Jack is on fish again! Tsunami Swim Shads were catching them Tuesday. Jack wound up with seven.
@jacobkeller16 with a heck of a Tuesday! He released over 30 bass up to 40” on Heavy Tsunami Swim Shads.
Hearing of fish in the slop Wednesday morning! @wefish138 just left the shop and he’s on them throwing shads and metals.
